Terms and Conditions
Other than as specifically provided in any separate formal purchase agreement between you and Sound System Services, these terms and conditions (this “Agreement”) apply to all of your online purchases from the website at www.soundsystems.co.nz (the “Site”) and may NOT be altered, supplemented, or amended by you through the use of any other document(s). Any attempt to alter, supplement, or amend this document or to enter an order for product(s) which is subject to additional or altered terms and conditions will be null and void, unless otherwise agreed to in a written agreement signed by both you and Sound System Services.
By purchasing products and/or services from the Site, you agree to be bound by and accept this Agreement. Orders are not binding upon Sound System Services until accepted by Sound System Services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Sound System Services will indicate its acceptance of an order by acknowledging your order by reply email or by shipping the ordered items to you.
Prices are listed in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
A freight charge is applicable to goods under the value of $200 ($12.00)

Because prices, product descriptions, and availability can change quickly, Sound System Services does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information provided on the Site.
Internet orders may be paid for using the following methods: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Direct Credit to our bank account or Cheque (Must be cleared before goods are dispatched. This usually takes 5 working days.)
A GST invoice will be included with each sale. (Please retain this as proof of purchase)
Separate charges for shipping will be shown on your order form.
Goods under $200 will incur a $12.00 freight charge. This price covers delivery anywhere in New Zealand.
Goods $200 and over will be shipped FREE OF CHARGE
Goods are sent via Trackable, Signature Required Courier
Goods will be shipped immediately, once payment is confirmed. Typical delivery 1 to 3 days depending on location.
Heavier goods (such as speaker cabinets) may take up to 5 days as these are often shipped via trucking companies.
Goods Will Only Be Shipped Within New Zealand
(Unfortunately We Can not Supply Overseas Customers Unless Pre Arranged)
Please inspect all parcels thoroughly for damage BEFORE signing for them. If there is any sign of damage to a carton or packaging, make the courier aware of this at the time of delivery and DO NOT SIGN THE DELIVERY DOCKET (Not even “Subject to Inspection”)
If need be, unpack the contents in front of the courier to view the contents. This will only confirm if there is any cosmetic damage. If you suspect there may be damage that is not visible (i.e. the unit does not work, due to a drop etc) advise the courier that you need to verify there is no damage and at this point you may agree to note “Subject To Inspection” on delivery docket.
DO NOT SIGN as this may be mistaken for acceptance of goods.
Please report any damage to Sound System Services and courier company immediately, keeping all packaging.
Goods are covered by The Carriage Of Goods Act up to the value of $1500.00 unless special arrangements are made PRIOR TO SHIPPING
All new products are sold with the manufacturer's limited warranty. The warranty period and service varies by manufacturer and product. The full text of any such warranty is available, free of charge, upon written request addressed to:

All goods have a minimum warranty period of 12 months.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover such events as speaker “burn out” or unrelated incidents caused by another piece of equipment or power supply issues.
The purchaser is liable for return freight charges for warranty assessment.
Exceptions may be made for larger items subject to prior approval.
Goods will not be accepted for a warranty claim unless “PROOF OF PURCHASE” is supplied in the form of a receipt etc.
SOUND SYSTEM SERVICES LTD PROVIDES NO SEPARATE WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOUND SYSTEM SERVICES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS REGARDING ANY PRODUCTS SOLD TO YOU, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, AND INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.
Sound System Services 7 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with any product, return it for a full refund of the product purchase price (less shipping) or exchange of your choice.
Sound System Services only accepts returns made within the first 7 days from shipment.
Should you find it necessary to return any merchandise, it must be shipped within this 7 day guarantee period.
All returned items must include a Return Authorisation Number (Issued by SOUND SYSTEM SERVICES LTD), be in the original packaging complete with the warranty card and owner’s manual, and show no signs of wear or abuse; otherwise the return will be refused.
A refund will be issued for the purchase price for goods accepted for return.
Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping and handling charges.
1. Include a Return Authorization Number;
2. Be in the original packaging complete with all collateral materials such as cases, straps, cables, care kits, certificates of authenticity, warranty cards, manuals, and any other materials that originally shipped with the instrument;
3. Be in brand-new condition, showing no signs of wear or use such as scratches, scuffs, dings, or scrapes.
Goods will be inspected upon return for assessment.
Sound System Services takes pride in its customer services record. In the unlikely event a dispute arising, both parties agree to take the matter to arbitration with a mutually acceptable third party.
Sound System Services reserves the right to decline exchange/refund if goods appear marked or packaging is not complete
You are also covered by The Consumer Guarantees Act which is Law in New Zealand.
