1. Can you offer advice about equipment for sale?
Yes, having had more than 30 years experience in the music industry, with 25 years as a professional musician and 6 years as a sound engineer, there is not much that we haven't encountered... ask us!
2. Do you stock all items listed on this site?
As we have thousands of items for sale, it is impossible for us to stock all items listed. However we strive to keep good stocks of all popular items.
3. What happens if the item listed is not available?
From time to time an imported item may be temporarily out of stock. We will advise you of the availability date and you have the option to place the item on back order.
4. Do you parallel import?
Absolutely not. All of our products are sourced without exception from official NZ importers. We quarantee the product is genuine (not counterfeit) and you are covered by a New Zealand warranty.
5. Do you charge freight?
A freight charge is applicable to goods under the value of $200 ($15.00) Any product over the value of $200 is shipped Freight Free anywhere in New Zealand.
6. How long does it take for the goods to arrive?
Most small items take 1-2 days. Larger items take 3-4 days depending on you location. We provide all courier ticket numbers and keep in touch at all times.
7. What happens if the goods are damaged in transit?
Please inspect all packaging for damage and do not sign the courier ticket unless you are satisfied the goods have not been damaged. If necessary, make the courier wait until you have inspected the goods thouroughly. The onis is on the courier to deliver the goods in undamaged condition. If the goods are damaged report this to us immediately.
8. What happens if the goods do not arrive?
Report to us as soon as possible. We will follow up for you and keep in touch until the goods do arrive.
9. What happens if the goods are not suitable.
Before purchasing, please ask us as many questions as you wish. If you are not happy please advise us immediately. The goods will be exchanged for something more suitable. The goods must be un-marked and in original packaging.
10. How do I know you are not a 'back yard' dealer?
Sound System Services has been established for 24 years, and has earned a reputation for honesty and reliability over this time.
11. What happens if I have a warranty claim?
All products are covered for at least 1 year against manufacturing defects. In the event of a claim please contact us as soon as possible with details of the problem. You are liable for freight back to our suppliers. Please note in the case of large items (say a 40 channel console) we may be able to orgainise the repair to be done locally. Please note: If an item is tested and found not to have a fault, there may be a service fee.

13. Will you give me a receipt?
Yes we will always supply proof of purchase. Please keep this in a safe place just in case you have a warranty claim.
14. Terms and Conditions of Sale
All goods remain the property of Sound System Services until paid for in full.
If you see any product offered elsewhere for less, please advise us and we will endeavor to give you the best price.
